U.S. Model 1855 Percussion Musket, by Springfield, .58 cal., 38'' barrel, three iron bands and brass forend cap, bright finish, full-length walnut stock, with tulip-head ramrod. Maynard tape feed lockplate marked ''U.S. Springfield/1860''. Condition is about very good with moderate surface corrosion, much of which has been cleaned. Stock with scuffs and scratches.
